About RizeGate: Built from Zero, for the Unbanked
The world of blockchain often feels like an exclusive club for experts and engineers. In early 2024, I was standing on the outside looking in — with zero knowledge, no technical background, and a lot of confusion. I didn’t understand the jargon, the complex math, or the infrastructure that makes decentralized finance work.
I was driven by a single thought: “Could blockchain technology help those in regions with no infrastructure or the financially vulnerable?” That question led me to create RizeCoin (RZC). I built it entirely by myself, starting from absolute zero, learning every step of the way.
The Honest Reality of My Journey
Building RizeCoin alone has been a road filled with challenges that most textbooks don’t mention. Without a team, I have faced the harsh realities of the crypto landscape firsthand. I have dealt with scams and lost funds to bot front-running — incidents where technology was used to exploit a learner rather than empower them.
Because of these experiences, I want to be completely transparent: RZC is currently a personal project and a practical experiment. It is not yet at a level for wide circulation or stable use. It is a work in progress, finding its feet in a very complex world.
Not Moon. Sun.
Search every crypto glossary. You will find Moon defined everywhere. You will not find Sun.
Moon describes what happens to a holder when a price rises. It’s a receiver’s concept — passive, waiting, dependent on cycles nobody controls.
To be a Sun is to choose contribution over speculation. To illuminate the path rather than wait for the price to rise.
A Moon waits to receive. A Sun decides to give first.
My name is Sunny — given to me by a friend in Singapore. Both names mean the same thing: to illuminate the world. I didn’t choose that meaning. It was placed on me before I understood it.
After years of watching people get scammed, after building RizeCoin from zero, after writing 230+ articles for people who have no bank account and no onboarding guide — I think I finally understand what I was given that name to do.
The Purpose of RizeGate
RizeGate exists to document this journey and share honest research on the Polygon ecosystem — its infrastructure, scalability, and tools like Polygon CDK and the AggLayer. My goal is to explain these concepts in a way that another beginner can grasp, avoiding the hype and academic tone of typical whitepapers.
In 2026, Polygon’s infrastructure is world-class. The technology exists to give anyone on earth access to fast, nearly free financial transactions. The 1.4 billion unbanked are not excluded by the technology. They are excluded because nobody built the stairs.
No onboarding. No honest explanation. No guide written by someone who learned from scratch and got burned along the way and kept going anyway.
A Moon waits for the market. A Sun builds regardless of where the market is.
